I am moved by practices that keep us alive to what is real and to what is possible; that anchor us in our hearts and support us in our work. My classes combine artful sequencing and skillful alignment instruction, all rooted in teachings gleaned from both the ancient and the everyday. I am most inspired by honest inquiry, myth and story, language and poetry, the subtle body, and above all, in utilizing the tools of yoga to engage with the world with sincerity and purpose.
I am currently working primarily in the realm of teacher development, in my roles as Program Director of the Advanced Teacher Training at the Vancouver School of Yoga, and as mentor to teachers near and far. I can also be found collaborating with some of my extraordinary colleagues and friends in workshops, retreats, and trainings.
I live in East Vancouver with my husband, Greg, and our 3 girls; Olive, Uma, and Elle.
